Boot from floppy. Open a shell.
rename "dh0:devs/AmigaOS ROM update" to "dh0:AmigaOS ROM update"
Boot normally and it should work. Now you can install the
rest. After that you can move the file back and install
BoingBag1.
No warranties but that helped on my system where I experienced the
same thing.
